Whits Tips is an educational app where you can find out more information and schedule training for your company or staff in any of the 8 different types of TiPS programs.
TiPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) is the global leader in education and training for the responsible service, sale, and consumption of alcohol. Proven effective by third-party studies, TIPS is a skills-based training program that is designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking, and drunk driving.
While this is voluntary in some states, other states require anyone in the liquor industry to have a TiPS certification in order to be employed in any type of setting where liquor is sold or served. In the states where it is not mandatory, some liquor liability insurance companies can require it in order to have or maintain a policy with them.
